Jerk Pork Gyoza

Number 184871809 ways of using Jerk Marinade! This gyoza’s are spicy, deeply savoury and easy to make. Make these for friends, or for yourself like I did lol 💁🏾‍♀️ these also freeze very well, this patch makes a good amount of gyoza’s for future dumpling cravings, Here’s the recipe!

Gyoza Filling:

Packet of Omni Pork Mince

3 large Savoy cabbage leaves

2 spring onions

1/4 teaspoon of allspice

Coriander chopped

2 garlic cloves minced

1 tablespoon of Jerk Marinade

1 tablespoon of Soy Sauce

Vegetable oil Oil to fry

80ml water

Packet of Dumpling wrappers


Start by add Omni Mince to a mixing bowl. Add Soy sauce, Jerk, Allspice to mince. Chop spring onions, coriander & cabbage. Mince garlic. Add all to the bowl with mince. Mix to combine.

To shape take a small bowl of water and a baking sheet/tray or plate with a little flour or cling film. Take of sheet of dumpling dough add a teaspoon of the filling and add using your finger brush around the edge. Close like a taco and then form the folds. Make sure it’s seal tight and repeat.

To cook, add about a tablespoon of vegetable oil in a frying pan that has a lid, and bring to a medium heat. Once hot, add gyoza and the fry until golden bring for around 2 minutes, checking so the don’t burn. Now add the water, cover and allow to steam for for 3-4 minutes till cooked. Repeat and then serve with your favourite dipping sauce.
