Chocolate Tahini Granola

It’s Granola season!! Love pairing sesame flavours with chocolate. This granola is super easy and so addictive, I’ve been eating by the handful from the jar. Make this and enjoy throughout the week with yogurt and fruit, or on it’s own!

1 1/2 cup Jumbo Oats

1/3 cup Whole Hazelnuts

1/3 cup Pumpkin Seeds

1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1 & 1/2 tablespoon of Cocoa Powder

Pinch of sea salt

1/3 cup maple syrup

3 Tablespoons of Tahini

1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil (or melted coconut oil/olive oil)

Mix all the dry ingredients together. Stir to coat entirely. Then add the maple syrup, tahini, vanilla & sesame oil . Stir until all the dry ingredients are toasted. Spread on a lined baking sheet - Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180c for 20 minutes till golden brown tossing at the 15 minutes mark in to ensure even baking. Allow to for at 20 minutes or till it has cooled completely, then break the granola into smaller chunks. Store in an air tight container!
